Kids Korean Kickboxing
Marks Kids Korean Kickboxing (Kyuk Too Ki) syllabus has been specially designed to teach this exciting sport in a safe & fun manner to children between 8 & 16 years old.
The difference between Marks syllabus & most other Kickboxing courses is that Mark emphasises positive life skills & life coaching in his classes, rather than just the sporting aspects.
REAL Kyuk Too Ki (Korean Kickboxing) combines Boxing punching, TaeKwon-Do Kicking, Hand Strikes, Elbow Strikes, Knee Strikes, & throws. Our Junior class teaches all these techniques in a safe manner. Kids get a great workout that will keep them mentally & physically fit, along with fun games & drills to develop their motor skills, exciting Padwork & Bagwork, non-contact Sparring, & applied self defence training. We DO NOT allow our juniors to perform contact sparring.
Our class is great fun, but also provides children with valuable skills & attributes that will stay with them for life.
As a parent it is VERY important for you to REALLY look into the qualifications & Black Belt rank of the instructor you're thinking of putting your child to. It is a sad fact that even in Martial Arts, just as anything else, there are people teaching who shouldn't be. Here in Arbroath we have a Kickboxing class open up recently in one of the towns halls that is being taught by an instructor who has never actually even honestly reached Blackbelt! The instructor in question did a short 'bootcamp' under one of the UK's biggest 'McDojo' owners, where if you pay the money he'll certify you as an instructor after doing his 'bootcamp' EVEN IF YOU HAVE NO ACTUAL MARTIAL ARTS RANK! Despite this person never actually having trained all the way through to Blackbelt himself, he is performing belt gradings himself!

He has 30 years of Martial Arts Experience, & was one of the first Professional TaeKwon-Do Instructors in Scotland.
